I had a great time at the autocross and the car show this year. Good to see old friends and meet new ones. I used magnetic vintage racing stickers to show the car as the old racer it is.

The above pic is of my latest mod to the car. 205-60R-16 Lincoln Mark v11 wheels.

I didn't win any thing at the show with the car, but scored large in the drawings. There was only one 122 there that I thought was as cool as mine.

Your car looked great.....

Is that Slammed145's little monster??

It's a crime that you didn't win anything at the show. Great car you have there, one of my favorites here at Turbobricks.

I voted for it!

Harry, how many tickets did you purchase and what all did you pick up? I felt pretty good for the $9 of tickets I bought(with one free one), but man, purchasing more looks quite good!

What's the next plan for the car? If I may suggest one thing, it's to lower the front a smidge... Give it back some rake. Otherwise, totally solid.

Thanks for the vote Kyle! I know a lot of turbobrickers voted for it. I think I probably made a mistake not parking it with the other 122s as most of the voters probably compare them altogether. Thats my story and I am sticking to it. We just need to get more turbobrickers there and continue to support our cars.

In the drawings, I won a set of HID conversions, $150 gift certificate from RSI, and a Volvo history book. I bought $10 worth of tickets, 14 I think. The kid and another big winner had whole fists full of tickets. My expirence is that $20 worth of tickets will almost guarantee you getting your monies worth and more.

I am starting to gather parts for the next evolution of the 122. I have the 75 B-20 block that is going to be bored out to accept the big pistons and chrome hardened crank I have saved from the original motor. I may put the $150 gift certificate I won toward one of the RSI pushrod heads I have been hearing about. Once the motor is ready, I will install the 8.8 4:11 comet rear end with limited slip into the car. I know comets did not have rear discs but from what I can tell, it can be converted. Then a T-5Z with to top it off. Your suggestion of lowering will come with the other items, plus performance suspension. Just need to find someone to fit the rear end and I can do the rest.

Here's a better engine bay Pix.

It was really good to meet you and check out your badass 122! My favorite 122 at the show for sure, by a long shot.

And thank you for posting that picture of my daughter in her little car. I forgot my camera that day, so it's nice to have some shots of her cruising around!

Yes, that is my daughter in her monster pedal car... or that is my little monster in her pedal car. Depends on how you're looking at it.

The pedal car as his.

More info on the wheels, are they 16x6 or 7? What's the offset, my all seasons don't lend themselves well to autox.

The internet says that 4.5 on 5 {older 122s pattern, to 67?} is the same as 114.5. The offset appears to be +20. They are at least 7 if not 7.5. Please excuse the vague answer as all I know for sure is that they fit, although I did have to grind out a slot on the spring base to keep the lip of the wheel from rubbing with spirited driving.
