Default SOUTHWEST meet, Phoenix AZ, December 3rd-5th[Drags,BBQin,Work Day,Cruising,AutoX!]

After much deliberation about having an "Arizona" meet, why not have big enough so some of you SoCal guys can have a reason to come too. Phoenix is about 5 hours out of LA and about 4 from San Diego for those of you who have never done the drive. Okay, here are the dates and what is going down.

Here's the slated plan. If you folks NOT from the Phoenix area need a place to crash, myself or Jason [Swedespeed21] can provide that. Here's the part where you clear you scheduele's--

December 3rd- Friday Night Street Drags at Firebird Raceway in Chandler. Gates open at 6 pm. It's $17 to run your car or $10 to attend. Full rules can be found here http://www.firebirdraceway.com/sample9.htm

December 4th- All day BBQ/Work Day/BS'ing session at Jason's place in Gilbert. Bring what you want for the BBQ [chips, soda, etc]. Plan some mods you want to do or if you need something fixed there will be plenty of us there to help out. Most of the tools can be provided but I'd suggest bringing your own. Once we're done with the work day we could do some crusing, and/or possibly attend the weekly car show at Scottsdale Pavillions [if we get enough folks in intrested reservations can be made to hold enough spots for our cars for the show, for those who want to show their car]. Than possibly head out to Hooters or something and than do some drinking [there or at Jason's]

December 5th- SCCA Solo2 Fall Series event #4 Autocross event. $30 is the entry fee. The scheduele for the day can be found here http://www.azsolo2.com/details/event20041205.htm rules can be found here http://www.azsolo2.com/policy/supp_rules_2004.htm

So who's down? I want to know how many of you guys can go or might be able to

I think Pat forgot to mention that on Saturday, you can have access to factory tools, and manuals, if you let me know what you need in advance.

It seems like it should be shortened to just a BBQ since I doubt there is the intrest for a drag/auto-x and since my 240 is down and out I'm out of that too.

So BBQ it is, who's down?
