I found the factory b230ft oil filter/cooler setup with a Setrab sandwich plate to be the best for mine. There’s no mess of oil lines running all over the engine bay.

If you separate some 1800E/ES hubs/rotors and swap the studs for some with a shorter knurled section then, yes, you can run a v70 rotor on the front with whatever caliper you want to adapt.

Steering will be noticeably heavier at low speeds but nothing to be concerned about.
