Will these (wheels) tires fit?

I recently installed a set of 18" Eikers with 225/40/18's. Now they are fine but would like alittle more meat in width and height which I have the room for except for the strut perch clearance. (*see pictures) So, now I'm switching to my other set of 18" (X 8.5" wide) Ocean MK18's (with 245/40/18's?) These are a tad bigger in diameter but the tires I believe might just fit (up front.) The rears I'm not as concerned with as we all know there is more room back there. Any opinions or experiences are most welcomed and appreciated!

The pictures need to be life sized to figure this out

Well, close. lol. And you aren't wrong, pictures really don't do it justice. I'm probably going to serve as an example one way or another and just buy the tires, cross my fingers and report back to you guys. Atleast this way I can help those in the future with similar fitment issues. Thanks btw, I appreciate your response.

I'm guessing they'll rub the inner fenders at least. I have been trying out 17x8,5" ET13 super DTMs with 215/45-17 and 225/45-17 and so far it seems they are going to rub a bit (during suspension compressing). Haven't been able to test drive yet since the motor is out atm...

245/40-17s are pretty much the max you can do without some pain in the ass work. So going to a 245/40-18 will be a bit of a chore without starting to cut stuff up.

Well, I do have a few advantages most do not. My car is only lowered 1.5" or so, my fenders are already rolled and u have (air-lift) bags in the rear springs (to adjust height a bit) and for more stability while going sideways! LoL! Plus I have a set or two of H@R spacers in a more extreme measure. But I'd rather them just bolt up normally. I guess we will see soon enough. Thanks yall!
