I need help using this website
To start off, I have no idea how to post attachments. At the bottom of the page, in the posting rules, it says i may not post attachments. why is that? i went to the FAQ section regarding attachments, and the "answers" im finding there are not very helpful. COuld someone guide me in the right direction.

You can only post attachments if you're a contributor. If you're trying to link a file, use something like Google Drive and post a link.
If you're trying to embed an image, use an image hosting service like Imgur and copy the image link and paste it between [IMG] and [/IMG] tags. For example, putting https://i.imgur.com/VkkmwpS.jpg between IMG tags gets you this:

Yeah i honestly use imgur for most everything but i know a lot of people want to keep things locally hosted so that things like the pbase fiasco dont impact older threads.

Not only can you post photos as an attachment being a contributor, but you also help covering the costs for keeping the site up and running
