Nice work. Curious how it sounds too.

Yeah the trans+bh is the exact same as the t5 + Volvo bellhoung and adapter. The engine is just a little further forward now to fit that massive clutch in the bellhousing.im glad this is happening. that shifter position ends up pretty good in there! im suprised tbh!
They will manage for a while. 245/40 toyo R1R, the original R-esq compound R1R.Your rear tires are going to hate you. Nice work.
Check out this page from Summit Racing https://www.summitracing.com/parts/aer-fcv0620What is your fuel line made of?
Probably a summit of griffin's radiator after trimming back the slam panel. For the intercooler I'm using the same Treadstone intercooler that was on my b230+16vT.This car is like a 2-door version of mine with one less gear. I love it!!!! Super clean. What are you doing for cooling?
I big believer and user of of the aeroquip app socketless hose. I planned on going as big as possible on the radiator. I have a few options from other people that have built LS v8's. I'm also going be running dual/flex fuel, so I have 1000cc injectors.Make sure to overkill the radiator side of things, the turbo LS stuff runs HOT. What A/R is the exhaust housing for the V-band inlet. I have the same turbo, but with the 1.25 A/R T4 flange. I'm curious to see this come together. Looks great so far.
I was hoping it would have the "jet taking off" type of sound, but I have a cold air tube to a big cone filter and i think it muffles the sound a lot. I have a turbo guard from my last 7875(billet), might have to throw it on and make a separate tune file for the open inlet to hear the choochoos better. I don't have a build thread for it yet, but PM me your number and I can send you tons of build pics. The main hurdles I had with mine were: cooling system being inadequate first go, and custom A/N PS Hose(forged fittings and PTFE lined hose are needed)
I like those A.S.S. mounts. I was debating between those and the STS ones
Oh ok so they do put the engine lower than the STS mounts do? I may end up doing a LSA supercharger on mine so that would be nice.I had the STS mounts, but sold them and got the A.S.S. I like the double natural rubber bushings. There is nothing wrong with the STS mounts, but I wanted the engine as low as possible.
Yes, just make sure to use the correct oil pan. I used this one.Oh ok so they do put the engine lower than the STS mounts do? I may end up doing a LSA supercharger on mine so that would be nice.
