I'm tempted to replace the oil pump of my 744 '88 with a B230FT. Two mechanics says that the problem is the oil pump, but a third one says that I probably have blocked oil conducts. How Can I check that?

I gonna unmount the oil pump in my '88 744T. I should check another things at that point?
