What is the most obnoxious horn I can mount to a 240?

I have a generic 18" air horn from ebay coupled with a rotary compressor. Light taps on the horn button generate a slight, soft noise perfect for warning cyclists or greeting people. Holding it down rushes bosnian bus drivers back in their lane (proven).

Yeah people drive slow because they aren't in a hurry. I don't understand their logic. When I'm on the road, I stay as far away from people as possible. I go when the light turns green (so easy to read opposing directions traffic lights to the point I know when it's going to turn green), and I keep right except to pass.

Fun fact about the siren/alarm. I had an alarm hooked up to my horn. It did not resemble police/ambulance etc, but boy it sure made people get out of the left lane.

Regardless of whether or not I'm in a hurry, it's incredibly annoying to be stuck behind people that aren't aware of their surroundings. I often hear people use this as an excuse, "are you in a hurry?". No I'm just trying to get off the ****ing road away from all these mongoloid soccer moms.

My main aggravation comes from drunk drivers (I see it a few times a month), texting and driving (I see 10+ a day, swerving, sitting at green lights), and people who drive under the speed limit. And especially people who drive in the passing lane without passing.

Typical PR 'I'm OK but everybody else is fvcked up'.

A friend of mine got his hands on a genuine railroad air horn. He mounted it to the roof of his RV. That thing would wake people up in a 10 block radius. That thing was CRAZY loud and funny too!

This post is mostly just my own curiosity regarding a topic I never hear much about.

To be honest I just want to boost the volume a bit. It doesn't seem quite loud enough to get other driver's attention. A modest increase should be fine.

Cheap and direct answer to your question in post 8. If you don't know how to wire a relay there are lots of videos and books to show you how.

Behind the grill, the horn gets the brunt of the weather, and a rusty horn creates less sound and requires more current, so a relay will show improvement, but so will a new stock horn.

in my 780. Connected to a "this or that" switch between my Hella Supertones.

I once found an old air siren (think old fire truck) and wired that in under the hood of one of my Z-cars to a separate toggle switch on the dash. Very effective.
