WM7.0 (The Last One)/Scotty's Bday/Erik's Bday - February 25th - 29th

Had a great time thanks again Scotty for hosting and good luck in Austin.

I think the best part was going home with a race car instead of a hangover.

Era isn't over yet! This started as pre-autocross BBQ's at my house in Carmel 10 years ago, and then Scotty decided to host in SLO and took it from there. Now it's time that someone else takes over, and we have a couple possiblities. One person has mentioned hosting at his place on the Central Coast, and I have considered hosting in the foothills at my property.

If you want to dig even deeper, you can go all the way back to 2003 when Doug started hosting Burgerball, a torch which got passed my way.

I might be down to assume WM hosting duties once we get the place in Corralitos sorted.
 
Didn't the BB's start before 2003? I remember when I joined TB after CV died off and it was up to BB5 or so already and that was 2003...

Damn I'm old.

But in all fairness, WM is a full weekend, BB was just a day, and sometimes lingered until then next before people could drive home.

I remember the very first BB was in 2003 around June ish, I only remember it because I was 17 and I remember riding up with Ryan and blowing the headgasket on his maroon 242 on hwy 4. We got a ride into Stockton so we could meet up with Pat Gallaher from some random dude.

I think Doug hosted BB 1-3 or 4 and than I hosted a few more after that. I remember something ridiculous like 30 cars showing up to one.
 
I do remember one at your place as well, plus one at the park. Started getting snow at your place one year, your dad got the parking ticket at the one at the park, despite the ranger telling him to park there. lol

The park was sept. 04, your parents place was 05 I think.

They all took place in late 05 - mid 07'. I was living in Arizona in 2004 and most of 2005.

First one was at the park in 2005, the snow was in early 2006.
